4k bmpcc

The big advantage is that it is open, it supports all major platforms and has no hidden licenses or fees. And includes an open SDK.

With more than an hour of braw footage at 8:1 now fitting into a 128gig card, this changes the game and the issue of storage!
Beta testers claim that even at 12:1 the footage still looks good! 12:1 would fit a lot more into internal cards!
One can now invest in just cfast or a fast sd card! Brilliant.

Anyone tried using the Fujinon MKX lenses (converted to m43) on the BMPCC4k Yet?

Anyone know where to rent a MKX converted lense?

No, but since the thread was resurfaced I would like to link to my p4k dynamic range evaluation, here.

Summary: it could be better, but all in all I'm very happy with the p4k.

Blackmagic's own RAW format. Info is that it will be added to BM pocket 4K. :)

I interviewed a BMD Product Specialist yesterday, the BMPCC is definitely getting Blackmagic RAW, he made a big point of explaining that when we talked about using their RAW in Resolve. Unfortunately it's only an acquisition format, although he also explained that the reason RAW exists is to record sensor data so using it as an intermediate format probably doesn't make much sense anyway.
