45-200mm micro lens

much abliged but like my review it seems to be all about stills,if a lens is ok for stills it should be for video but i am no expert on lenses.

I've read other posts from highly regarded users here that think it's a great lens, fairly quiet and fast AF, and reasonably priced

Darned if I can find the old posts though, the search function on DVXuser is horrible, very outdated at least a decade old. That's why we have so many duplicate threads here asking exactly the same questions there should be an autosearch that works when you make a new thread to see if there is a similar thread already.

The Lumix 45-200mm works well for video, focusing quickly and quietly in both AFS and AFC auto-focus modes. Its OIS is also highly useful for handheld videos, and it is significantly faster than the f5.6ish 14-140mm kit lens.

This was shot with that lens - GH13 720p 50fps Lumix 45 - 200mm handheld. Enable HD and Play

I own this lens and its good. Very good lens for not expensive money. Very fast quiet af compare to my more espenive lens. And its very easy to mount! Not like the other lousy one. And the anti vibrator work pretty good even at 200mm. You should bought the lens. Lol.

It's not a fast lens at f4-5.6 but for shooting outside no problems. The video above was shot 1/250, had a polarizer fitted and still was closed down. As you can see the from the deep DOF. Agree very fast quite AF, lightweight, plenty sharp even stopped down, OIS not over done (can pan with it on) and best part is the price. Carn't go wrong.
