C300: 3 things that would make C300 Mark II nearly perfect

My wishlist:

1) The handle needs same functionality as C100. Push the joystick and you acces ISO/WB and so on. For documentary shooting it´s a must for me.
2) ability to move and scale waveform.
2) Better Slow motion quality in image ( is that even possible with firmware?)
3) Autofocus wise. A more smooth and more responsive way to move the autofocus area with the joystick. Maybe if you could customize it?
(the dream would be to have a small screen on the handle, where you could just slide you thumb for focus) Maybe Canon could build a custom handle?)
4) Ability to use custom luts

These a for now stuff that would make the camera so much better for me.

Imagine switching back and forth 6 or 8 times a year... wow. At least with the F3 I can do it myself...

39 sec. onwards...

You could buy an entire Sony F5 just from the costs of shifting back and forth between PL & EF on a C300 over a couple of years! Canon's pricing is once again.... madness. As usual.

Ergonomically, I think the camera's too tall in its default state (monitor unit attached to the top of the handle). I'm a big ergonomics nut since I don't like complex rigs and external things. How tall the camera is was definitely something I thought they'd change going from the C300 to the Mark II, but I was unfortunately wrong.

Is my biggest announces from a C100 to C300, how it gets exxtra top heavy

You seem to spend a great deal of energy wielding your axe against Canon and saluting Sony. Have they upset you in some way?

I was not concerned about higher frame rates in 4k when I bought the C300 MII. I work for a super hub and had many discussions with the CE about 4k broadcast standards and this will not be an issue for almost another decade. I am sure Canon had this in mind when they were designing the camera.

My major concern with this camera is learning how to understand and work with the noise present in clog2. I think this could be made easier with a noise detection setting to blow up the noise (maybe turning it white) so I can see it in the EVF to expose and light the image accordingly.

I was told by Canon Hollywood after the initial conversion they'll give you all the parts from both mounts and it's user swappable. If you're not comfortable doing it you can take it back to canon and they'll do it for a service charge around $300.
