14mm lenses compared: Samyang 14mm 2.8 m4/3 vs Samyang 14mm T3.1 Nikon Mount vs Panasonic 14 mm f/2.5

They are all roughly the same price (new) on B&H, though the panny is cheaper by about $100. The Samyang T3.1 has the advantage that you can use it with a speedbooster so you get more FOV options and a stop faster possibility. Meanwhile, the panny 14mm at f/2.5 is marginally faster than the Samyang f/2.8 for m4/3. How do these compare for quality on a GH cam (for video).

Sorry, didn't mean to mislead. I'd like a 14mm prime for my GH3, and I was looking around and saw a number of choices, and wondered what the feedback was on those. Btw., speaking of misleading, I clicked on your answer hoping someone came in here to comment on the differences, and there I see your post that gives zero new information... useless click for me... and I guess useless click for you... so we're even :)

Now, can we get back to getting feedback on these? Thanks!

Yeah I did that on purpose :D
Anyway, I don´t have experience with them, but if your main need is Video then either Samyang is better because of the manual focus. The Lumix 14mm is a pancake so the manual focus is hard if you have big fingers, plus you can´t focus pull with it.
