C300: 14mm lens?

I'm using the C300 Mki with the Sigma 18-35 T-2. On the NX1 I'm shooting on the 16mm and I like that wideness. But I would like to go a bit wider on the C300 down to 14mm.

Anyone have any feedback on what is a good 14mm lens? Thanks

The Tokina 11-16 or 11-20 are the best options.

This! x100

The Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 is a very very popular classic lens for UWA on a budget (I own one myself, as do many other people).

And the newer 11-20mm f2.8 gives you a bit more flexibility with those extra 4mm

Another low budget option is the Rokinon 14mm , but personally I'd go for the 10mm & 16mm instead from Rokinon for using with a C300 as those are designed for S35 (while the 14mm is optimized for FF35 instead).

I feel like going for a FF UWA on a cinema camera isn't worth the price, weight, or the bulbous front element.

nice. How well does it work with the C300?

It works really, really well actually. It only weighs about 5lbs on its own and it is plenty powerful at flying it. In fact, the setup shown is well under max capacity. My only complaint is the dumb batteries (as in, no indicators of charge, etc) but at least they last forever (never had one run out on a shoot).

As you can see, I prefer to fly it inverted so I can set it down rather than chase down the stand. I also swapped out some of the original carbon tubes for shorter SmallRig tubes so it fits easier in my Pelican case. Love it!

I tested a bunch of Canon primes and zooms a while back and the 11-24 was about the best in terms of actual resolution and contrast.
