10" 1024x600 monitor with battery and HDMI input for your upcoming GH2, $130 only

soldier i have the same problem.. gh13 connected to monitor and i too get flashing screen... if with the same cable i connect to TV i have no problem.. if i connect the monitor to my Mac with a adaptor i have no problem...
it actually hangs the camera... i need to turn off the camera to regain control once it starts flashing...
i made a quick clip of the problem.. it is uploading right now to vimeo.. i'll post link later when ready.

also the monitor will run out of battery in a week even switched off... i know rechargable batteries tend to discharge even when not used... but this will go from a complete charge to completely dead in one week...never happended before with any other device...

I take it this monitor is not recommended for GH13 playback? Thanks all for your suggestions.

Anyone have pics of how you are mounting it and what pieces you use to mount it. I don't know how is the best way to mount my monitor.

I've just been charged extra £14 by DHL in the Custums name before my Monday delivery...wish i knew about this link earlier...UK buyers should avoid DHL i suppose...when cheap stops being cheap

I posted the same link 2 pages back (#270). But it's the Chinese version and probably has the glossy panel.

Yep obviously i ordered non glossy and non Chinese language ...
The shocking thing was (well i wasnt aware of it) is that you can be charged Custums Duty on all purcheses above £18 in UK...

I got the arm too and I mounted it. Not bad! But the hot shoe a little bit sucks but arm okey. I got the shrivel arm to and it okay but somehow still not so perfect when I attach all to the block on the rails. I will keep experiment with different mounting positions.

What that's terrible and I thought we had it bad in New Zealand when we go above $400 NZD

and to finish this story about customs in UK...they include shiping costs to final calculation of charges...anyways anyone knows quick program which does teleprompting stuff??? or do i just stick with my NLE software

Just wanted to confirm to anyone looking into this monitor, I received mine and tested it with my GH2 and it was plug and play. Detail is remarkable for such a inexpensive item, I can see every pore on my face! For focus and framing it's unreal, the color is a little off but what do you expect... all in all can't believe how good of a deal this was and my Thanks to Vitaliy for bringing it to our attention. Oh and my new Voigtlander 58mm looks stunning on it!

I got Mr Chan monitor and few quick observations(some already mentioned)
2 hours battery-not good
i had 2 HDMI cables(1 original Pany) and both have a strobing when you switch on-so connection problem is most likely on GH2 side input.(I also tried all settings in camera Auto/1080i/720p....)
Eventually when you manage to get it working quality(and roughly color match it with LVF is very good for monitoring/framing)...obviously focusing help and EXt Con dont work due to camera firmware...mind you it would be fantastic help if these 2 things are enabled...
Biggest bummer for me is that you cant replay the scene, when you press playback it shows TV output in progress and then LCD/LVF switches off while monitor displays first frame of captured file.
Wish i had patience to wait for improved version if it ever comes...i can use it as a prompter and 2 hours of monitoring ...argh

I just bought a cheap external battery back off eBay for 30 bucks that should give me an additional 8 hours of battery life... you should try that!
