Looking like i'll be doing product VO, nothing incredible but i'm feeling like a more dedicated mic than my other production mics, something USB (don't gasp) I want to record direct to NLE
Taking amazon reviews with a grain of salt, there's some standout options:

I'm also quite enthused to see that gif's are now quite a viable means to show timelapses. It doesn't appeal to me to post a 10 second...
I just tried the studio pro 45watt bulbs, kill-a-watt pegged them as a grand 29-31watts of actual usage. There really is no way to tell if a bulb is outputting true spec without buying and trying unless there are folks out there who can chime in.
I'm looking for 45-55watt range cfl bulbs...
Granted, they're what they are, but i can definitely see times i could have made use of such a system/had a backup/additional.

I have this lovely lapse which has a peculiar effect: the sky jumps in exposure/color wildly. Which is strange for a 2 second interval, all settings locked, verified everything is as it should be in editing, but still the effect remains. I honestly don't think the sky was changing quite so much...

The market is practically flooded with cheap led panels these days, curious to see what everyone has tried, liked, disliked.
The light storm series is getting a lot of attention, and i see many other newcommers, likely just rebrands. I've been debating a set of HR672s for awhile, but heard of...

After years of grabbing stock shots/personal shots, i only now realized i wasn't advertising them in any way. Thus i put this piece together and am sharing it around
My wife and i were down seeing the launch of nasa's orion rocket, a very early morning affair. i made this short piece about our experience, but the one shot i wanted to share was this:

Here is my entry, which despite my own remaining nitpicks, i need to step away from for at least a few hours, in that time i'm hoping to get some constructive...
It's not what you think, i promise...
I'm big into stock footage, and sometimes i just don't have any real camera with me when something pops up, and the saying goes... The best camera is the one you have when you need it.
That, and i just caved on getting an LG G3(why the heck do people like...
