I have tried both Quicktime and FCP to output stills from HVX 720 footage. In both apps I am getting much darker and blocky looking footage. I have tried both JPG and TGA. Any clue how I can get a good matching color copy out of either app?

I have a 5 min film and its coming in around 130mb when I do a constant bit rate of 8mbs. When I open the film in Quicktime it says the movie is like 430k per second.. It does not seem that I am getting a very good quality mp2 encode... where are you guys coming in at? Thats without audio...
