Anyone willing to meet up in Florida so I can test my 35mm adapter on their camera. I wanted to check out the results to see if it's good enough for an HD cam.
I'm looking to shoot a feature in the upcoming year and wanted to get started on gear. Would it make sense to use a P+S with the camera or use their stock lens? I've seen some good DOF with stock lens and not bad, but the problem I"m hearing or seeing is sometimes you have to be a good 10ft away...

Is there someone here willing to help me out on a storyboard? I have frame forge, but that's taking a lot of time out of my hands. I have a shooting script I can show to the person who is willing to do a storyboard for me. It can either be drawn or 3d software. I just need something to take with...
Hey, I put a lot of effort into this, but it's 90% done and thought I'd post pics of my newest adapter. I'll be using a Light Shaping Screen with better optics and casing. Also a plus is I can change the Focus Screen to whatever I want. And interchangeable mounts. A lot bigger screen to focus...
I havent seen any rates for news stringers I'm thinking i will get my new a1 and change my rates per story what do you all think would be a good rate for news footage per station per story.
Not really. But I'm curious to know why a lot of people are still anticipating that this product might come to surface someday. All the while there are a lot of 35mm adapters to choose from. Brevis, SgPro, Letus, Redrock...whatever. The list is growing more and more, but when someone mentions...
Can you refer a decent video equipment and or accesories rental here in Florida? Looking at follow focus's or firestore kind of stuff.

Anyone possibly have a follow focus w/rails or w/o? I'm in Florida and really need it for an upcoming short. Even if it's DIY I'll still want to rent it.
Besides the obvious top of the line specs on an Ibook, what would be a good size cpu and ram on a mac? I know it differs from a PC so I'm curious because I want to buy one but don't want to make a mistake and get something not powerful enough.
Going to run Final Cut and do a lot of Adobe...
