So as I'm prepping for my short for BetrayalFest and there was this guy contacting me showing interests of joining the crew. He's still a student at an Art Institude so I said okay, I cannot promise any big buck but if you're looking for a chance to learn and earn experience, then you're welcome...

.. about an actor commitment. So lets say I'm doing a low budget shoot then going through an audition process and then found this one great actor and he seems to be excited about the project and all and his schedule seems to open on the schedule I set for shooting so everything went great, but...

Brought my 7D to my son's basketball game this morning. Shot handheld with a 50mm 1.8, mostly shot with ISO 800, then toward the end changed to 400... which I should have at the beginning because it looks so much better... LOL, yeah I'm still learning! ymb641GjyWw Updated: I tried some color...

I have an EOS/FD adapter for my 35mm DOF adapter on my HV30 so I thought I put it on 7D and see how it is... it works but horrible for handheld work as there's no stabilizers ;-) but it's cool to see I could use my old lens if needed...

Second day owned and first video ever with my brand new 7D. I put on the cheap Canon 50mm 1.8 lens on it and see how it looks compare to the kit lens. There's still a lot to learn with this camera but I really like it. 7194090 Setting is at ISO 800 1/60 f/1.8, ran through a minor curve...

I'm wondering if there's an exhibit category this time around?

Hi, I want to share my entry for BloomFest #3 over at ExposureRoom, called THE GAME. The theme of the fest is basically a homage to a famous movie, and here's my contribution: think SAW meets Bruce Lee's GAME OF DEATH...

I'm looking for these... the good ones... like they use in martial art movies... most HK movies and some western ones... like D.O.A for example... where do I find the sound FX for such? Thanks in advance.

The credit rule says: there's at least one frame of the complete credits must appear at the end of the film. What does that mean exactly? Does a rolling credit still qualify? Thanks.

Does anyone run into an issue where on the timeline, hit Enter to render the preview files but Premiere stops in the middle but put the "green" bar on top (that it was already rendered) but when playing it, it stops at a frozen frame? I am not sure why but all of a sudden, I ran into this issue...

I'm having problems with this.. .I'm trying to encode a 25 minute timeline and no matter what options I picked (quicktime, H264..etc) it never completed the encoding... about 1/4 done then just stops.. saying "unknown error"... I'm not sure why... I have encoded many short test clips before but...
