I booked tickets for the UK premiere earlier this week!
It's playing at the Curzon-Soho on the 28th: intro/Q&A with the director yet to be confirmed.
If any other London 'users are planning on going and want to get suitably sloshed beforehand, post here!

I just saw this last night, at a midnight screening at a Landmark theater.
I honestly cannot remember when I had such an enjoyable time at a movie. Birdemic is an experience, and if you go with the right crowd, it can be amazing.
I could seriously see this becoming the next Rocky Horror.
If people want to argue about the theater experience vs. watching a dvd at home, yes, there's a lot of points to be made for watching at home. But Birdemic is not one of them. This is a masterpiece for community experience. It was so much fun.
It may not have turned out the way the director intended it to, but the end result is seriously a very entertaining experience. And that is something that's very difficult to accomplish. Hats off to James Nguyen.

Glad to see the "in-crowd" finally getting on the Birdemic: Shock and Terror bandwagon. 
Here's a quick interview I shot with James Nguyen after the Austin premiere a few months ago. It was the second-ever screening of the film, and like BG says, though it may not have turned out to be the film Nguyen thought it was, it is an undeniable masterpiece of sorts. And James Nguyen couldn't be a nicer guy.
