what should be the date rate for my 24p dvx100 clips? all mine range from 2.9 - 4 MB/sec is that right? I searched and came up with nothing about it. what is the data rate on the tape when recorded in 24p. is it a vbr? thanks

I tried previewing my finished footage on the "digital cinema desktop preview" in fcp 5.1 option and it wont play. it'll scrub fine but when I push play it freeze frames on the last frame it was stopped. I tried going to external video and clicking "all frames" and it's selected. does anyone...

Hello, I recently imported my hd footage from my p2 card into fcp using the p2 import option. Is it suposed to need rendering just dropping it onto the timeline or am I doing something wrong? it's kinda weird that just putting a clip onto the timeline would need rendering. help!

I've been having a few problems previewing hvx footage on my television. I basically run firewire from my macpro to my camcorder then to my tv. it worked perfectly fine the first few times I was editing now it doesnt. It must be something to do with the settings. On my tv the audio plays fine...
