    $150 to spend...

I filmed a marketing consultant this weekend, all I did was basically set up my camera and filmed him talking, nothing difficult or anything... anywho, out of nowhere he got me a $150 BH Photo Gift Card! I have a couple ideas of what I would spend it on, but I wondered if anybody out there had...

    24pA problem with rendering...

Ok, I filmed a wedding last weekend with two DVX cameras, one was a DVX100a, the other was a DVX100b. I recorded both in 24pa mode, and I captured them in FCP using the pulldown removal setting. However when I try to drag clips from both cameras into the timeline, one or the other always comes...

    WTB: Camcorder for tape logging

I'm looking for a small, consumer camcorder to mainly use for logging footage, as I don't want to wear down the heads on my dvx100b. I need it to have mini-dv and fireware capability. Looking to spend around $150 - $200. So if you have one not being used, let me know!

    Playback issues...

I recently tried to playback some 25p footage on my home television, and the images were very dark, and in black & white. I was using new RCA cables to connect my camera to the tv, so I don't think the cables are the issue... I also attempted to play back some older mini dv tapes on my dvx100a...

    DVX100a UV filter installation, help!

Ok, I feel like an idiot for asking this, but here we go... When I ordered my dvx100a, I also ordered a "general brand" 72mm UV filter. Now, after some attempts, I have no idea on how to install this new filter. Can I even use this UV filter on the dvx100a? Any comments, guides, websites would...

    On-Camera light for dvx100a

I just received my new dvx100a, and it's awesome, but of course, I didn't check to see if the on-camera light I bought would work with it. I bought an Anton Bauer UL2-20 Ultralight to use, but there is no plugin for it anywhere on the camera, HELP!!! I assumed that since B& H had this light...

    Tapes!

I just purchased the DVX100A, and I should be getting it either tomorrow or Thursday. Anywho, what tapes are the best to get for the dvx100a? I'm looking at either JVC or Maxell, but does panasonic recommend a certain type or brand? I've heard that certain tapes can wear down heads quicker and...
