On-Camera light for dvx100a

I just received my new dvx100a, and it's awesome, but of course, I didn't check to see if the on-camera light I bought would work with it. I bought an Anton Bauer UL2-20 Ultralight to use, but there is no plugin for it anywhere on the camera, HELP!!! I assumed that since B& H had this light listed under the accessories for the camera, that it would work, but of course, I was wrong. Is there an adapter I need to buy, or am I up the creek without by beloved padle?

If the UL2-20 won't work, which one should I get?

Hey there.
Well, what exactly do you want to plug that light into?
Most smaller cams won't have a power OUT, so any additional thing you attach to it (light, wireless receiver, etc.) will have to be powered externally. In other words that light will work just fine with ANY cam, as long as you provide it with some juice from an external battery.

Check B&H for batteries, but remember that anything with a POWERTAP will be expensive as it's "considered" pro. If you want to go cheaper with the battery solution, you might need to whop off the power tap and solder a more "forgiving" connection to it, or get a POWERTAP to XLR 4-pin (the next best thing):
