I want to get a drone around $2000. I see there’s a lot of controversy around DJI in the USA. What drone can I buy that’s equivalent to the DJI mini pro? I’m just looking for decent 4k video.
As I use this technology, I see it getting better and better in a short amount of time. Eventually, it won’t need my input.
When I watch movie credits showing hundreds of talented people who have worked together on a film and made it great, it makes me sad to know that they may lose their jobs...
I have no idea if AI will save the world or be the end of it or be something in between! I do know that I’ve always loved creating things since I was a kid. As I grew older, I fell in love with films and eventually started creating tutorials and short films (and everything in between). It’s my...
I created a zombie short, although it’s probably more like a trailer. I have a love hate relationship with this new technology. It can do some amazing things that would be too expensive to do in reality, but it’s also frustrating because no matter how specific you are, the results are unreliable...
It's a bit hit and miss. They use up your credits every time you hit process. When it comes out close to useable, I go with it to save credits. You can enter the same prompt again and get different results. Even if you change the prompt, it might not come out as good. I'm sure in time, it...
My last exploration into AI generation with Veo 3 was a Sci-Fi Movie Trailer. It was fun to make, but it was far from real looking (as far as the characters go). This time I took a stab at trying to create more realistic looking characters from different time periods. AI has a ways to go, but...
I have a script that I wrote that I decided to turn into a movie trailer using Google Veo 3.
It was an interesting experience using AI. The technology is evolving. It’s far from perfect, but it’s fun to build something without shooting a frame. Certainly not a replacement for real actors and...
Thanks, guys. It has a very specific look that's super fun to shoot with. I just did another test shoot for some contrast. You guys know that I love Blackmagic, but also did Canon Cameras. I'm enjoying the C80.
The last time I posted, I shot scenics with a F1 lens that's far from perfect opened up all the way, but has a lot of character. This time, I shot with a zoom lens that has a fantastic zoom range from 24-105mm, but only opens up to 2.8.
What do you think? Which do you prefer and why?
I shot some scenics with a F1 lens. I imagine most people shoot nature with more depth of field, but I wanted to try the opposite. What do you think?
Canon EOS C80 6K full-frame 12-bit RAW Cinematic Test Footage
I've been experimenting with the Canon C80. I've found a lens and filter combo that I like to use now and this video shows you the results. Probably not the look everyone will want or need, but I feel like it has a lot of character. Do you agree?
