I am using Final Cut Express 4.0.1, and i am really happy with how it works. The main issue is with the quality of the video when i export. I have it set us as an apple intermediate 1440x1080i60. When i view the video in the browser, it looks good, but when i export it at H.264 at best quality...

I have been using FCE 2 for a while, and it has served me well for the last few years, but when I export a movie as a quicktime movie at 720x480, the footage looks poor. What am I doing wrong? Do you think upgrading to FCE 4 would help?
