I'm looking for a good 35mm adapter to go with my 50mm Nikon lens. I made a DIY Adapter, but I was not impressed. I have looked at the Redrock, Brevis, and Letus, but they are really expensive. I was looking at the SG Pro. That one seems a little cheaper than the others. Im not looking for a flip system, but i am looking for a rod system. What would be a reasonable price for a 35mm adapter? If you could give me any help, that would be great.

If you are buying an adapter to use with your one Nikon lens, then don't buy an adapter. If you are going to start small and THEN expand, save some more money and buy the adapter that best fits your needs.

I have multiple lenses. Would a 28mm wide angle Nikon lens work? The lens doesn't let in too much light, but i like its wide view.

Well.... I dont think my diy-adapter is much shittier than any other brand-made one out there, and I paid less than most adapters cost :)
Allthough I cant say what the lightloss is etc etc like the companies can.

And when looking whats available today, like twoneils, jag35 or what the name is, etc etc, then you realize that $$$$$$ isnt allway king :)

When you look at the entry price for the adapter market, it's actually lower than it was in the early days. For ~$1500 you can get a flipped system and rod support and basically you're ready to go. Used to be you can't get an adapter without spending $1500 on a decent HD monitor to flip the image. And more importantly, all the major adapter work! That's unbelievably huge when you think about it. Gone are the days when people snapped up DIY or beta versions of adapters only to discover that they can't focus properly on the GG, or can't deal with excessive vignetting and/or softness. Back then, adapters were about compromises. Now you can purchase from any of the big names and know that you can't go wrong. The price they charge is worth it.
