I had an hour with the camera and here's what I shot:

Overall... amazing. I'm a 5D and 7D user and still love these camera's, but for anything that requires a higher-gloss look, the F3+Kipro Mini is the way to go. Just so crisp!
... when you record your own cover of a well-known song ("Love will tear us apart") and use it in a film?
I'm thinking it is, but just want to make sure.
Hey guys
I'm trying to do that "old film look" effect, and I'm trying to have the highlights pulse like old film would.
How would I do this? I can't seem to keyframe the colour correction plugins.
Thanks for any help!
I'm a complete beginner with AE. I'm curious how hard it is to make realistic fire on a person's body. It sounds incredibly hard and I'm guessing it requires immense amount of skill.
Just hoping there is some easy plug-in...
Thanks for any help.
This was shot a while back, but I forgot to post it up on here for you guys and girls to see.
It was probably the most fun I've had on a shoot. Dragging people behind cars is so much fun, you really should try it. Budget was around $200 for underwater housing. That's pretty much it. Maybe...

I recently switched to Mac from PC.
Is it possible to transfer data from a NTSF formatted SATA drive to an IDE Mac formatted drive? These harddrives will be hooked up to my Mac.
I know you can't write on NTSF drive's from a Mac, only read. But you can transfer from the drive onto the computer...
I noticed that when light hits the lens at a certain angle with a UV filter on, there is a circular reflection in the image.
Is this because of a cheap filter? IT's a Tiffen 72mm UV protection filter. So basically it's just glass. Has anyone else noticed this?

Wrote this a few nights ago and looking for some feedback. I'm itching to shoot anything with my new camera, so I decided to write this quickly with a no-budget mindset. Easy locations, few actors, etc.
It's about 21 or so pages. Very rough, as you can probably see from all the mistakes, but I...

Shot with the DVX100a. A quick, low key 2-hour shoot with no crew and two friends. Last minute type of thing, capitalizing on an apartment that was empty for a few days (also shot a quick...
I'm about to buy a 15' macbook pro and I'm wondering if that $400 protection plan is worth it?
That's quite a lot of money to dump into an extended warranty, where in 3 years, my MBP will probably be obsolete.
What do you guys think?
I love this camera (A1). Got it last week and have been playing around. PLayed some footage back on my 50' HD tv and it's absolutely stunning. I tried to re-enact that colour fringing people were complaining about and managed to get it, but I found that it usually only comes out when things are...
