I have been using H4n with few booms (thru xlr), all with the same problem. The volume seems to peak on H4n screen, but when put in final cut, the db is around -20 area, very low, almost unusable level. But when I use Rode VideoMic plugged into the Mic 3.5mm jack, the db is normal. Am I doing...
