I'm not sure what the best route is to sell old equipment, but I'm curious is there even a market for 35 mm adapters? I have a Letus Extreme adapter and rails— and now that it's 2013, I don't know that anyone is looking to buy. Any suggestions for how I can sell it? Recycle it? Donate it?

Is there a better way to generate still frames? I have to create preview images for all of my videos (70+) and FCP 7 route is slow, plus the color depth is off. Can anyone recommend a free software to help me do this? I tried VLC but for some reason it wouldn't play H.264 .mov's.
