I just tuned on my camera, yesterday, and noticed the flip-out LCD on my EX1 is very dim. This is not just because the iris is closed. The display information and even the "XDCAM" logo appear on the LCD very dimly. Has anyone ever had this problem? Thanks, in advance for your help.

I've shot with the HVX-200 and I've noticed very blocky reds, even at 1080P. Has anyone had any trouble with the color red, with the EX1? Reason I'm asking is; I have a project with a candy apple red costume in it and I want to make sure it will render alright. Thanks for your thoughts.

So, I just purchased a Broncolor 1200W HMI on ebay. Only trouble is, the light sounds like one of those mercury vapor lights you see in industrial settings. Anyone have any experience "quieting down" this type of light? If not, I'm going to send it back. Thanks in advance.
