Año Perdido - Lost Year - A film made in Argentina

Congratulations, my dear friends from Argentina. I'm very happy you made it into the finals! Best of luck to you.

Terrific film here! Way to make the Top 10 (and represent the international community)!!!

I'm so happy to see this film as a finalist. It gives me hope for people as a whole, as well as the progression of the blending of international filmmaking aesthetics.

congrats man!

somehow this one slipped by earlier. Really gorgeous black and white. It's strange because it really made me want to see more of the happy family and more of the unhappy child. Really natural.

the end was a bit abrupt and the comp work on the fireworks was rough - but damn, looked great.

Whoa! Great film. Superb acting - solid performances. I loved all the details. Visually rich. My least favorite part was the script. But regardless, I loved it. Thanks for making it, you deserved a top ten place.

Great film, learn from the comments and make something even bigger and better. Loved the B&W. For sure TOP 10

Not a lot of people thought to do something PSA style. It's nice to see something with social relevance in one of these festivals. Usually people are so busy trying to out "misunderstood-artist" everyone else.

I really enjoyed the portraiture in the film. Such authentic seeming snapshots. As real as that seemed my interest lagged as nothing much was happening and the whole point could have been made in 30 seconds to a minute (90 seconds tops) and had much greater impact as a film and an argument, IMHO.

Still hats off for the great looking black and white and convincing world.

Congrats on making the finals, regardless. I thought this was one of the most harrowing, realistic films in the contest and deserves more recognition.
