"MODEL / PHOTOGRAPHER" - an ELOQUENT GRAFFITI prelude – a film by SABI

PODCAST THREE - DANIEL J. CARMODY
Story meeting at the IHOP with Daniel J. Carmody. Here's your chance to hear some story/character details from this project.

By the way, my girlfriend slapped her head in embarrassment when she saw the "fireworks" intro to this one.

MARY ELISE HAYDEN
MARY ELISE is one of my favorite people. Have you ever met someone and felt like "that person is so cool and talented i wish we were friends". i feel that way about her. mary elise brings an unpretentious edge, and her performance in HEART OF NOW is a clear standout. our time working together on that production was too brief and i'm so glad to have the opportunity to collaborate with her once more. she also has a wonderful, supercool manager.

DUSTY SORG
Oh man. This f*cking guy. DUSTY is a mad genius. he is soooo earnest in his performances that his comedy never feels like schtick or over the top. it's all very genuine. And his ability to engage with another actor is grounded in the truth of that moment. he adapts and moves like few others and makes it look so effortless. it's a rare ability he has. I like him.

Easier to cast when you've worked with them before isn't it? Avoids that long awkward auditioning process too.

Edit: Congrats on the castign by the way.

that, and because mary elise and dusty had supporting roles, I didn't get to work with them nearly as much as I would have liked to.

but you remembered them and that's all that counts. the girl i want for my short was a dancer on a music video i shot.. there was a definite star quality about her though... the "i'd watch this girl all day" feeling... you know what i'm talking about.

i do, puck.

here is a video i made a year ago from their auditions for Heart of Now. They both read from the same sides but never actually met until a month afterward. keep in mind, this was an audition, not a final scene. i'm just offering it here so you can get a feel for the potential of their chemistry.

scroll down to the second video on that page.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! This will be the last PODCAST until next week.

PODCAST FOUR - MARY ELISE HAYDEN & DUSTY SORG
Catch a glimpse of actors MARY ELISE HAYDEN and DUSTY SORG in scenes from HEART OF NOW.

That Fat Monster blog cracks me up. Good job capturing the essence of the Monster experience; where you are always sure to be offered some sort of off the wall proposition. Look forward to the film.
