"MODEL / PHOTOGRAPHER" - an ELOQUENT GRAFFITI prelude – a film by SABI

Dusty has a nice presence. He kinda draws you in rather than beats you over the head.... I'm very interested to see him in something with some meat and dialog

Thanks for sharing.

Later,
Jason

You're in LA and you're BOWLING? WTF! How long does a guy have to wait to see you go clubing or something...anything...but bowling? shi*, what's next, quilting club? HA!:cheesy:

:):):)

hehe! i gave up clubbing when i gave up the umm, how do i put this?... the aspects of that lifestyle that could lead to rehab (best case scenario), or worse, were getting the best of me. so i quit. :)

Hey Zak,

Your films just keep getting better and better. I'm looking forward to this one.

cheers,

JP

Wise choice...you're right...bowling is safe (just alot of beer!). Good for you.
As always, looking forward to this film.

the D90 is 24p. :) even so, i WILL have to retime the footage to 23.98 in compressor.

Hey Zak, have you had any success with this process and if so, would you mind sharing your settings? I've yet to successfully convert D90 to 23.98 through compressor while keeping the image quality intact.

Cinema Tools has a done a good job of conforming 24 to 23.98, but it doesn't take care of the audio sync issues, so I'm still on the hunt for a process that will do both without sacrificing quality.

i was able to retime it to 100.1% (or 99.9%, i forget which) and that held sync. not perfectly. but pretty close. I think I simultaneously converted to ProRes at the same time.

Today Mary Elise and Dusty picked their character names. That and more in the next podcast coming up tonight...
