These were just shot with my macbook camera so ill try to get better quality pictures up, someone just wanted pictures for a gig and i thought id throw these up. Im trying to get a DFX801 converted for this so i can to proper hand held. I updated from the Redrock M2 and am very pleased.

How cool to see it in application.

I will be posting more shots of the new Rizer plate set up. I've got a couple working units and I think they are pretty sweet. Cory

Yeah Cory the handle is a pretty sweet addition to the rig and makes my life so much easier not to worry about bumping the camera out of alignment when moving or doing handheld. Very good product.

Appy the dfx801 is a sony SD viewfinder that i wanted to try to convert to get a proper shoulder shooting setup for handheld. There is a company in Austria that does it but... well its in Austria, so im trying to figure out how to convert it to work - its really not necessary, i could just use my marshall with super effective home depot plumbing parts mount but im trying to get as streamlined a rig i can.

Got the INDImatte today and completed my kit! Now I only need something interesting to shoot. My backyard has been shot to death...

A few updated pics(Sorry about the quality, only got my iPhone camera to take photos with...)

post #55, Page 6 is just about the sleekest i've seen. he the only one i've seen who seemed to flip his flip35mm, so the cam sits lower, yet almost in-line with everything in front....great aesthetic look...

wtf, you are shooting super 8 though a 35mm adapter?! marvelous hehe, love the picture too haha... and an SGpro too, I want to see footy :)

puckthemad, do you have any issues with the camera shifting when doing handheald; i.e. is the cinevate system stable? finding a comfortable handheald rig for these adaters has been something ive been trying to get solid for a while (without spending massive cashes on a zacuto rig or something)

actually my system is built using the cinevate parts, but not the actual one they use for the Proteus. i had originally used the Proteus links to join to my handles, but needed them to support the camera. Once tightened there was ZERO shift.

As you can see on my handle setup, I put back the Proteus links into the original position and used the Cinevate rail blocks as handle extensions instead. Once tightened there was no shifting on the rods and it actually give me an additional place to screw a post in for my monitor mount. If I'd handed, I could have also used my Noga arm in the middle support hole and attached the monitor to that, but I have a different solution using a camera plate head from the magic arm and a ball head to mount the monitor, so it fits quite comfortably onto the handle, no problem.

I must also report that despite my initial concern than the left handle join wasn't as far out as I would have liked... it's actually quite comfortable at that distance and I'm liking it more and more. Now it makes me want to go and buy the real thing...
