"TWISTED" - A ZazaCast Film

O.K., Bleed Anus? ...really....really??? Not what I was expecting...but then again, you never know what you'll get from this group.

Thanks for the effort Ben (and crew), I do appreciate your taking the time to watch and....comment....I think?:dankk2:

haha, well, to explain. The style of music in the film reminded us of a techno dance party. I LOVE don hertzfeldt animations, and one of them has that little cloud character yelling "EVERYBODY DANCE!", later in the skit, as you can see, he starts to bleed out his anus, but everyone is still dancing for joy.

Now that I look back on it, it may seem like we thought your movie made our ass bleed, which is quite untrue, my anus is just fine (I cannot, however, comment on the status of Justin or Brad's anus). This was just a continuation of a joke, to the point it doesn't make sense anymore and is irrelevant, which is exactly where we like to leave them... :)

Which, if you are inclined, look up the "REJECTED" short film on youtube, you might spot my avatar.

Hey Joe. Finally got to this one. I watched it through once and admit I didn't get the ending at first. About 5 minutes later I'm stting here thinking and 'click'. Delayed reaction I guess. And that explains the scenes that weren't explained during the first view. Cool.

The opening fonts were a bit weird but I guess you were going for that twilight look. They also seemed a bit distracting in the opening scenes.

Oh, and in the end credits I noticed there were several actors with the same name as you.
How weird is that? haha.

Good job though. I liked the story much better once the ending sunk in. Congrats, again.

Thanks for watching and commenting Gord! Seems this fest is very light on the reviews...I guess everyone's busy this time of year?

Either way, I really appreciate you taking the time to watch...as you know, these films take a lot of time & effort. Your critique can only help make me a better filmmaker. Cheers to you!

Joe, I have to say you've grown a hell of a lot since Timefest! Both entries. Wow, Kudos to you and your cast/crew!

if I don't have all 6 easter eggs, can i name the 4 i think i have?

Thanks Dustin for the props!

I might as well just send you the cash, cause no one else is even trying....but yes, please list the Easter Eggs you found, I'd love to know what you picked-up on.

I'd give it a go but still trying to comment on the other films. Don't give Dustin your money yet: we still have til wednesday, right?

Yes... you still have time! LOL!!
Best of luck.

The first one to find all 6 Easter Eggs and post them here gets $50.00!

hey zaza, fun flick. Tim and Mike did a great job! They both gave very natural performances and filled the 6 mins nicely. Though, I do have to say i got a little tired of waiting around for the end (but maybe that was the point?). I really enjoyed the kidnapping congress men angle. Did they get killed and replaced? Or was it some far off dream? Either way, great job casting and directing those two.

Wow, good job! I have to enter this next year! This is the first film in this festival I have watched and Im very impressed

Thanks Robbie...glad you enjoyed it!

Again Bryce thanks for watching & commenting... I value your opinions and all this really helps to make me a better filmmaker (I hope!).

The Congressmen did get killed...sad to say, but they had to go! I have to say I was very impressed with both Mike & Tim. They did a great job for me and this was a first film for both of them. I found them on Craigslist...damn, they wouldn't even let me buy them lunch on shoot days and both brought bag lunches! Then... they helped set-up and brakedown too. I will be working with them in the future. GREAT guys.
