:huh: It's time for the BIG axe. This is what I do-- Pretend I'm some big hollywood star director while I watch it and say, "cut That out, and THAT, and those five shots"....etc. Then, surely, all your babies will be cut to death, yeah, those REALLY awesome shots that you've always had in mind and were really fun and cool to shoot and took all day.... but they don't add anything to the story. GONE.

Then I cry :crybaby:, suck up the tears, and move on.

Good luck! Can't wait to see it.

Yes, I know what you mean. I think that's going to happen. But the light was so great on that shot! True, but it doesn't push the story forward. You're right. Gone.

Yeah great job man! Locations, BTS, all of it! Looks really good! There;s nothing more gratifying than actually FINISHING one of these suckers on time ;)

Arg. Compressor's estimate of 48MB was way off. My file came in at 57MB!!!! This time I'm going for a 42.47MB file, hopefully it comes in under 50MB.
 
Seems like I might hit a wall soon. I guess that's what happens when you edit non-stop for... let me count, oh I'm too tired to figure it out. Since Saturday noon. It's Monday. I want sleep!

But first things first. Compressor. Then Upload. Then Sleep.
 
Compressor is doing its thing. Thanks for the kind words! I'd reserve praise until you watch it. Who knows, it might totally suck.
 
Bah! So just means the next one will be better, whether or not it sucks. You made a movie and that's worth a lot, just the entire experience. Relax: I'm sure it will be a good ride.

Now to see it projected on a 10ft screen....
 
Yeah. Can you imagine!? I did shoot in HD, so I could... find a benefactor and have him fund the 35mm transfer. Hmmmm.
