The end of 35mm adapers and hv20s....

By the way, Stoiga: excellent footage!

It keeps gettin' BETTER and better.

Thx...cant wait to test my 50-300mm ...got me on the Iso...you are expecting the video to work with the same settings from camera...but it`s like tow bodies in one... totally different.

EXACTLY. That's the issue. We all walked into this assuming "hey! It's a DSLR! MANUAL CONTROLS BABY!"

And we got duped. =( NIkon gets negative reputation on this one until they explain why. In the meantime, we just have to keep tricking the camera into cleaner, prettier settings.

The footage just keeps on gettin' better.

One question:
Reading over this forum is hell. I'm buying this camera tomorrow, and I need to know one thing... You can't lock the shutter speed?

I'm not one to really be bothered by it, but the rolling shutter jello in that piece makes it unusable* IMO. When you can see the effect on leaves I think that's pretty bad. Colors and DR looks wonderful though.

*Although I have seen very little footage

Those shots were all shaky and handheld. Check out the shots on the shoulder mount, and the one on the steady cam.

A side effect of this rolling shutter could be the end to that damn shaky camera era.

Please note that I forgot to "lock" in a few instances( on the yellow flower for sure). This happens when you switch the Lv off,you forget about locking it.Hope this helps.(it`s an art to be mastered)

Actually, what are you using for your Picture Adjustment profile thingy? Vivid + What settings?

Go! Tell! Now!
