THIRST- A Matt Sconce Film

Nice! I had a piece of costuming come in and I will be running some test shots within the week. I am so tired as recently I have decided that for some reason I need to look like a greek god and have been working out like crazy. I am quite far from the Zeus like abs of thunder though.

Also, I just put some new business cards together, check them out. 40 ish bucks for 250 double sided custom glossy business cards and 2 day mail 29.95 with out shipping cost.

I'll keep updating as I go! Hope everything is going well for all your projects!

The card look great. The only question I have is, once it is printed is the resolution on the small screen grabs high enough to make as impact on the viewer? There is a lot of detail in there.

Yeah, it should be. The detailed file is 300dpi and the text in the awards will be readable so the detail will be there. Glad you like the card. I think it should catch people's attention and I hope it turns out well. We will see when it comes in soon.

It looks great. OK apparently I've never figured this out but, how in the heck does everyone get their banners on the bottom of the page to link to their film thread? Is it a HTML code that I'm missing?

Find the link to your first page and copy it, go to USER CP. In signature, click on the picture and then click the link button "chain" in the upper right. Paste the link to the first page in the window that pops up, hit okay and you are good to go. :)

Wow, it was built to be idiot proof... I fooled them! Thanks man :)
No problem! I just tried out the link. It works great!

UPDATE:
Apparently I suck at buying costumes.:zombie_smiley: I asked our little girl actress's mom what size dress she wore and she said it was a 10-11. I then went and bought a rockin size 10-11 dress for the role...which was not cheap...only to discover to my dismay that the 10-11 for children is different than for women. I had a dress come in size 10-11 for women. I am lame. So now I ordered a second dress in a different style, and the other is on hold for future projects....haha:huh: Just shows what a Galoot I am. ha! I really like that word...Idon't even know what it really means.:)

Hilarious! Thankfully I've never been responsible for costuming a little girl. I would have made the same mistake.

Yep, it is a steep learning curve. I know I will learn more though seeing as I have a 6 month old baby daughter. I better learn fast!

Nice business card. I'm gonna' have to copy-cat that me thinks! LOL.

Wow, looks like you're really pulling out all the stops - everything looks great. When you say "environment tests" what exactly are you talking about? Are you adding effects to the shots?

All environments are 3d. The actors will be blended so they attempt to blend in with a completely created world. This is a learning experience for me and lets me learn all of the equipment I want to become proficient at. It will most likely suck horribly, but at least I will go down in a flame of glory.

The definition of Galoot is awesome! I am Scottish so perhaps I am a 8th or 9th generation Galoot.

Conrad, this one shouyld have some goodness of its own aside from gun kicky-ness.
