THIRST- A Matt Sconce Film

Looks good Matt, hopefully we can collaborate if I happen to be in Fresno when you're shooting!

Yeah, I live and work in LA now (it's been a year almost!).

But I drive up to Fresno once and while to visit family and friends.

Here matt, I did a little bit of work on your image to make it look more real!

I couldn't resist!

In all seriousness, I think the edges are what is making it look lo res. I just blurred them in my sumo version and it really helped. Just soften those edges a bit and it will look sharper. At least in my opinion.

Well, my Mad Scientist Father has been engineering a Giant Crane that will have the capability to move on the X and Y axis for future endeavors. We will use it on Thirst and hopefully some other Fresnan projects. Here is a picture of it. i think he made it for about 120.00

Simply awesome!

I asked for some footage in the DIY section. Can't wait to see it.

Wow, Matt, that crane is brilliant. Remind me to compliment your father when school starts up again. The tests looked fantastic, I am really looking forward to this.

Thanks Nick! That crane is going to help a lot. It is like my dad is an AutoCad program that exports to a real life render. He thinks of something and can just make it. Pretty durn cool! The Tests turned out pretty well. I am focusing on the script for the next two days to get it completely roughed out and then I am off to the Action on Film Festival for PUSH. I get back Friday and then it is back to more script and test fun.

Yes you can count me in, I really would love to use this crane from my opening shot. :) I have to Gary, your amazing! keep on building.

dude that is a killer Jib. I was just looking at it over in DIY. Should be quite interesting to see the shots you pull off. Gonna get your dad to build a smaller one for interior shots?

It breaks into half of that for interior shots so we should be all set.

I just went and picked up a VERY important device in this process of making THIRST from Craigslist. I am so happy to have found it. Mwa ha ha!:Drogar-Evil(DBG):

I am still in the revision process with my script, and hope to have a completed version by this time next week or the following.:)
