Hey guys! Just got back from our last trip to Uganda and I thought I'd share a little video with you. Shot on the trusty old DVX! Let me know what you guys think (I know it's a little "gritty") :) www.globalsupportmission.com

great man. is this something you do alot of? we are looking at going on our first trip and will be documenting the trip. what kind of gear did you travel with.
 
Great job man, its always cool to film in other countries. I have about 3 hours of footage in Italy that I want to edit soon.

This is the second time I've shot in Uganda, but I hope to go out more! We had a pretty simple set up... Just a DVX100b, rain cover, oktava mk012 (hyper capsule) w/ a rode shockmount, 4 batteries (or so) and a wireless sennheiser mic system. I also have a lightweight cheapo tripod and a monfrotto monopod (which i rarely use). I brought a pelican case on the first trip, but it was a big hassle to lug around so I got a Cinebags backpack (which i love!). That's pretty much it!
