"Love" a new short film by Ted Arabian

Dang, sorry that crap with the fire alarm happened. But doesn't something always just go wrong at the worst time like that on the set?? People don't understand sometimes just how hard it is to get films made with the the pre-production, production and post-production. There are so many things that can go wrong during each particular process - but that's why we are who we are and we do what we do. We're filmmakers damnit! And we kick A$$!

Oh, by the way, what's the lady waiting on - cz I can tell you what it looks like to me.

Thanks B-man! I appreciate the comments.

Marlon.... very true spoken, indeed! And, uh.... yeah... I think that your mind is in the right place!!!

Well, I have wrapped! I wrapped, packed and headed to Boston to shoot with Jim and Aram. Great to see them both again!

I have started to download my footage and I am PSYCHED!!!!!!! The stuff looks fantastic!!! I am so happy and proud right now. I was able to pull of the look and feel that I intended. Now, I just hope that the story all cuts together and that people enjoy the work.

I will post some more grabs as soon as I can. Right now, I have to take a nap as we have a 2am shoot tonight!

Best and good luck to all!!!

-Ted

Okay, off to sleep to get ready to shoot tonight!

Ted, your stuff is looking killer! Nice lighting setups and sets. Did you do all of your own lighting or did someone help in that department?

Mike... the only editing getting done is IN MY HEAD!!! I just wrapped today and downloaded the footage (it looks awesome, btw!) but I am here in Boston working with Jim and Aram on their film.

Editing is going to have to be on hold for a few days.... BUMMER!

Tom! Thanks!!! Yep... did it all. Set and lighting. I am a designer, after all! (and I just designed the sh*t out of that set. I had a blast putting it together!)

Ted, as not a set designer and builder of one set, I found it to be as much fun as the rest of the process of making our film. I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to have the power and resources of say Mr. Scott. I mean, he built a forest in a building. We had a blast with the whole set thing too.

Teddo!!! Dude, what an elaborate mo-foin' SET!!!! You really went balls to the wall on this one. Freakin good work, man.

I also must express my joy in discovering that you had multiple ladders on set.
A lot of people here would have been very disappointed. Anyway, it provided me with the closure I needed. THANKS

And those grabs!! How voyeuristic!! It's creepin' me out!!
Keep up the great work man. I can't wait to see more.
