We went out last night (pretty much immediately after I bailed on you)
Got back around 11:30, at which point I went back to editing until about 2:30am
I'm about to go back now to see if what I cut even made any sense.

i just have to say it's pretty damn funny to have the rough cut come in under 6 minutes.
there was a lot of tossing and turning, sleepless nights, and concern we wouldn't make it and would have to enter a non-competitive entry or hack something together under the time limit. either would have sucked.
whew... i'm glad we cut that chase sequence out. that would have put us way over the top. of course, we could never find a horse a boat and a three-man bicycle to make it happen if we DID want it anyways. at least all three on the same day.

although my husband seems to be more of a lurker than a poster on here, it's my pleasure to take his place and tell you how awesome the mister's are. and how much awesome-er the short is. and also tell you how the more you ask for something (grabs) the less likely you are to get it - didn't your mothers ever teach you that? lay off on the grabs - they'll just spoil the surprise.
