Did I not mention the Direction, great job:thumbup: and is that your sister? She's a Hottie:thumbsup:
:zombie_smiley:Well yeah, the main actress wasn't so bad herself!
i am officially blown away. Fantastic film!
Nice job pulling together a great team and coming up with a cool story. Very cool look of the film but what stood out to me was the editing. Very slick. Not too many jump cuts but a few when they made sense like when she was under the desk.
Might have been a tad cheesy with all the whispering but I did not predict what was going to happen like I have been able to in a lot of these shorts.
Nice work.
Great job Brandon.
Really looked 35.Photography, lighting, acting was great. Sound design too. If I may, the prosthethic of the ghost/zombie lacked a bit. But for a low budget its as good as it gets.
Again great job.
Brandon, you guys did good, heck you guys did GREAT! Very professional! I couldn't believe it. I was blown away by how well the film was put together. I know you guys are going places. Keep up the good work, definately in my top 3.
Hey Brandon...
I just watched your film and I liked it alot! I think this is your best work. I loved Geoffs cinematography, Justins music, the location, the editing...etc. I thought the acting was good, and that your direction served the story well.
Overall it was very well put together. I havn't seen all the films in the fest...but I have seen most...and this is my favorite so far.
Nice Job!
Brandon,
I watched your movie and I've got to say that you've grown a lot. It looks like you're beginning to understand what you CAN do and what you CAN'T do. For instance you got a good DP and your movie looks really good. The only quibble with the looks is the jarring transition from 5:00 o'clock to Midnight. Now, if you can get a writer (because the story was very weak) and good actors (though the main actress wasn't too bad) you might really have something. I think you could have done much better than the flashback by perhaps showing 5:00 then 8:30 then 10:00 then midnight with her taking the drugs at each instance. This would have kept you from having to use an artificial time manipulation like flashback which in the case of this movie, didn't really pay off, and keep the viewer in the flow. I'm not sure if it's a directorial choice or an editorial choice but whichever it is, it is a mistake.
Hey Brandon,
I echo the sentiments of others who say this is your best work.
Everything took a step up, but especially in the visual aspect.
The look and feel is there.
While I think everything bumped up a notch I agree with areas Blaine's identified as having the most potential for growth. But again everything is gelling more and more for you, just more so in the camera / style area than the others.
Great work Geoff, it looks really great.
Hey, Brandon. I unfortunately haven't seen any of your other films, so this was my first one. I could see that there are alot of people on here that have much respect and admiration for you, so I expected for your film to be pretty good. Having said that, it still exceeded my expectations. You had some really great shots, including the ones at the intro. and this film was spooky. The acting was really good in most spots, but in a couple just okay, but it all worked.
Congrats and good job.
Hey Brandon. Great work, this is really well done. Can someone point out where you used a glass of red wine for me, though? I didn't see it anywhere.
