My DVX trailer

The project looks pretty good dispite all the critisizim. I did a film about meth as well and I'm pretty known for ultra low budget but even then it still cost me a couple hundrend bucks. You can't forget about gas, food(snacks), little props here n there, food agian, all that stuff adds up man. Here's the trailer I cut.

NO VALE LA PENA

budget: ~$3000 ( I think)
crew of 5

..and yes, what ozone did can be done with a single individual. I'm sure with a little creativity any of you can do it.

duce!!

now it all makes sense! fake trailer! so no feature length production requiring serious cash...fake trailer means pennies...at least in my book.

however the sad thing is...it looks good enough that people including myself would like to see an actual feature length, but then that would require more work and not just fun...question is...can ozan deliver? he made the appetizer can he make the meal?

just kidding! geez dude why not say that at the beginning? then you might not have caught all this grief.

already a few comments about the budget. i wonder if he'll use the "i made it for pennies" angle again.

lol how many people already explained there was no feature, myself included. And now that we can see his face, i think there's little question whether HE's the guy who did it.

thread done

good job, ozan

If you wait around long enough the truth reveals itself. Why didn't he say this in the first place? He had to wait until "Spielberg asked him?" Now I know. I've also watched some of the films w/intros on the lot and most people are on the white/a little dopey/videoiscool! kind of vibe, athropologically speaking. I'm looking forward to seeing the show. All these young men inside the 'lot' loft, fighting and hugging each other.

his video is without a question one of the best on that site. if he doesn't get selected we know it is because he didn't do it like he said he did. if he did do it, then he'll be on the show.

i'm just posting to keep this thread alive, hahah!
i'll miss all the bullsh--t when its gone. good times.

Very Impressive

Very Impressive

You should be very proud of this work. It is top notch. The quality beats out a lot of crap on TV and Hollywood. Your eye for style, pacing, video treatment and sound are all great. It is always a pleasure to see such well executed material. I hope you can get the entire feature made! Long live the DVX!

Well, Meth-bashing is over for me. Ozan posted in the Premiere thread, helping me out on a problem. And now I love him.

We did have some good times on this thread though. Like that one time... when like... we were all like... "you didn't make this".

Oh man, good times.

Good times.

Some of our members should be up for the "International Playa' haters" award for 07'.

"Hate, hate, hate, hate, hate".....lol.....long live Dave Chappelle.

wow. simply wow. I wish you were in my area. I need people like you to work with. Damn rhode island and its horrible film industry with no standards what-so-ever.

Really nice trailer. Gorgeous camera work, exciting flow to the trailer "storyline". Certainly teases viewers into "wannabe" moviegoers...
My only negative (Constructive criticism) thoughts are: too long, too many "developing story" shots around the shipping container scenes...sometimes Less is more? BEST of luck with your great movie making talents!

this is hot!

What if Ozan is some hollywood director playing a prank with all of us. =
