EIGHTEEN SECONDS by Jack, Zac and Mac

Is there a link for Similo around here?

Is there any info on Similo? I've heard it referred to but don't know anything other than the same people that created 18 seconds made it. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

So... he's a robot?
d'oh! Spoiler Alert!

Kidding. Yeah, he's a robot. But is she a robot also....? Hmmmm......
Maybe Mac pulls a Blade Runner in the feature length. Who knows?

:)

the link?
it's a page with several options, not a direct link to the film, if that helps.
just checked and it seems to be hunky dory
I haven't tried all the options but the English version H.264 seems to be ok.

yeah, the link. says it "timed out". maybe it's just Firefox. I've seen the film, back in the day, but I wanted to watch again. I'll try IE.

EDIT: IE times out, too. oh well . . . some other time.

is that an hvx/dvx with a 35 mm adapter?... It looks awesome...
That's been debated...I'm not sure if it was ever cleared up.

At one point Jack Daniel Stanley said it was an Andromedized dvx, which seems to make sense.

Actually - that was the popular assumption. But Mac has since clarified that
it was just regular old DVX
with the Geurilla 35 (now Cinemek)

LOL, don't you mean the Guerilla35(now defunct)?

Good to know about it just being the straight dvx. Blows my mind even more though - I was actually hoping there was some "better" camera at play there so I could start to wrap my little brain around how awesome Similo is. And how not-awesome my dvx stuff is. Shucks.

Nope. Not as far as I know.

Mac says it's a Guerilla 35 which is now Cinemelk and Jonathan Houser, President & CEO from Cinemek, Inc. has been to the thread to comment. Maybe he didn't read the whole thread, but I'm just going by what Mac has said about the adaptor he owns.
He's referring to what 18 seconds was shot on here ...

HVX all the way with letus and Guerilla35 (now cinemek) adapters.

Quoting:
"Out of the 1billion seconds they have lived, those 18 seconds they share is the only worth moment they had in their lives"

"It seemed like they were living two halves of the same empty life. Is that whey she died at the end?"
