Somewhere (other video news web) i read that Convergent Design at NAB, are showing the Gemini but only as for playback ..
Also, somewhere in this forum i read, Gemini may have problems recording 4:4:4 1080p with its 1.8 special made drives, cause i think it can only be used with its C.D. drives..
Can someone at NAB ask for a recording demo ??

Yup - saw this a few minutes ago... it also looks like it covers all flavours of HD signal over HD-SDI & HDMI (which is also 1.4) so maybe the first out of the block for Sony's TC over HDMI?

The first big event on our schedule is the Panasonic Press Conference at 12:30pm Pacific Time (3:30pm Eastern) on Sunday.
We will also try and hit up Sony at 2:30pm (Pacific) assuming we can get there in time after the Panasonic event.
