Zoom lever lock?

Is it possible to lock the bigger zoom lever of the A1? It's very annoying when using an 35mm adapter and one hits the lever - focus to GG lost Have anyone else had this same issue? Any thoughts?

You need the following.

1. Construction blade (exacto, good pair of scissors, ect...)
2. Gaffers Tape (Do you know where I'm going with this yet?)
3. Old plastic milk container
4. Minimal amount of creativity

Never done it, just thinking out loud. It's what I would try first if I had that problem.

badlaa is right, it's a total pain in the ass...I'm finding that you have to backfocus just about every time you change lenses (if not more often).

Yeah it sucks when you accidentally just touch the lever slightly without noticing it, and you are for example between two takes. I quess I have to try something like todd suggested.

how about setting your preset focus and zoom for pefect adaptor settings and just get used to reseting it between takes:thumbup:
