C100: Zoom in on Ninja Blade - info from Atomos

I've been considering buying the Ninja Blade, primarily as a monitor, but have been put off by the inability to punch in to check focus. This was the response from Atomos regarding the likelihood of it being added via a firmware upgrade:

"We would like to add this feature, however it is not a trivial change. It is on our feature request list but has not been scheduled to go into a future firmware release at this time. If this changes I will let you know."

Is this something other people miss or do you find the screen OK for focusing? Perhaps a few more requests via Atomos support would help persuade them that the effort would be warranted.

I end up using both the Ninja and built-in LCD to "cross-check", so I magnify with the LCD anyways.
Magnify on the Ninja would be great tho but I don't think it's a deal breaker as there's so much other awesomeness.
If you really must have that feature then don't buy it, even if it's on their to-do list doesn't mean it will be done within the lifetime of the product. They do release regular firmware updates but for example the Ninja 2 can only install AtomOS v4, not v5. Same could happen to the Blade once a Blade 2 is released.
And see the other recent discussions about the Odyssey 7Q!

for 1080p I don't mind not being able to punch in at all. The blades 5" screen is more than adequate for nailing focus. 4k on the other hand is a different animal and I always find myself punching in(where capable).

I would like to see a "flip vertical" feature before the punch-in.
