Zoom H4N question

I have a quick question about the zoom h4n that I just bought. I haven't read the manual yet so if this is a dumb question I apologize. Is there a way to change the input volume between the 2 xlr inputs? I am running two xlr mics into the zoom h4n and when I try adjusting the levels of them I am only able to do both simultaneously. Is there a way to adjust the levels of each separately?

Press either the '1' or '2' button on the front left, then adjust the volume with the rocker switch on the side.

Yes. You need the mixer function. The rocker on the side just adjusts the levels of both internal mics, or both XLR inputs.

There are several H4n users that hang out in the Audio forum here. Posting additional questions there will probably get faster answers. -Tim
