Zombie blood test grabs

John the sig is actually a creation of my daughters photoshop meanderings. She took some pictures of my grandaughters(her nieces) and turned them into(whatever they are)and I borrowed them for the sig. Disturbing images. I just thought it was a different Zombielike look. I can't imagine rotoscoping every frame like that though and I have no idea where she gets her depraved sense of art.

I think you sig is the scariest thing of all Big!

Reminds me of Village of the Damned. (shivers)

First time I saw them, I thought if there is an alternate universe populated with our inverse selves, then these are certainly the evil side of teletubbies. :undecided

what did you use for the blood? If its karo and red food coloring, I have been told that you should put a few drops of blue food coloring in it to help darken it a bit.

ops, sorry, I just read about your blood mixture, so yeah, try adding a couple drops of blue to the mix, and see how you like it.

This mixture has worked great for me. Tastes good too!

I love the brain...I thought of Califlower too...I was thinking of texture...Thanks for doing a test for me...hehe...maybe you should leave it to soak overnite.
Shotgun doesnt sound meaty enough..

Your welcome, it looks better chopped up and scattered in blood behind someones head. When I get ready to shoot I will have a 5 gallon bucket with ....brain soaking in it. Having never done anything like this before I have to try things and see what works.

Yesterday I did a quick shoot of a couple of shotgun blasts and storyboarded my outline(I'm scared to view those scribbles today). At least I have a rough idea what I'm going to shoot. I made flyers to recruit zombies with and got them put up. I have about ten volunteers(before flyers) but no experienced actors for speaking parts.

I feel like I need to make a little progress each day so that I chip away at the mountain of work even a five minute project requires. I am already editing in my head and realizing that I don' t have stuntmen squibs and such and will have to curtail some things. I do believe planning now can save time later. Now if I can just get that crane shot for the opening......I may have to climb one of these trees...damm how am I gonna hold on to the limb and the camera............arggggggg!

Bigmagic,

any updates? did you try another blood formula? I'm telling you chocolate syrup is the trick! plus it makes it a lot less disgusting to put in your mouth and stuff then liguid detergent, he he!
