Zoe Zoom Controller

Can't seem to find any information on connecting my Zoe to my new HMC150. It doesn't work with "Zoom S/S". Have I missed that in the manual? A setting perhaps that activates the plug?

It's a LANC. Does the Zoe come in a model specifically for the HMC150? Geez, I feel misinformed. I called B&H and asked if the Zoe would work and was told yes, but the guy didn't say which one.

I'm really attached to using a zoom controller on the arm of my tripod. Do you have one you like to use?
 
If it's the ZOE-DVXL then it should work fine. Not sure how to get it to switch modes though.

One little "gotcha" .. make sure your zoom switch on the camera isn't set to "manual".

My Zoe DVXL has a tiny switch on the bottom that toggles between Lanc and Panasonic Modes so I could use it with Sony or Panasonic cameras. My old Zoe was dedicated Panasonic only. I don't think DVXL works w/Sony EX-1/3 cameras unfortunately.

Chris, that was it! I found the tiny switch on the back of the Zoe. Thank you so much for writing in, and good timing too. I was able to cancel an order with B&H for a different controller.
