Zeiss Zf Prime Lens Set - 25/50/85 - $1850

[gmoe]

Hi folks!

I am having to unload some gear so these amazing Zeiss ZF prime lenses are selling as a set. They are new and include the original boxes plus canon soft cases to hold each lens. Focus gears were mounted on the lenses for the DxMetal test so there is light scuffing on the 25mm focus ring. The 50mm and 85mm have no scuffing. This does not impede from the picture quality of the lenses at all. I will only sell as a set and will not break them up so please don’t ask to break them up.

I picked them up from Ketch Rossi who tested the lenses in his studio. The lenses are currently being tested with DxMetal .

Because the lenses were sent down to DxMetal for the Nikon Zoom Vs Zeiss prime shoot out the Zeiss lenses will ship from DxMetal but payment will be made to me.

Zeiss ZF prime lens set with canon soft cases to hold lenses:

25mm F/2.8 DISTAGON $650
50mm f/1.4 PLANAR $ 400
85mm F/1.4 PLANAR $ 800

$1850!!!

Paypal only + shipping/insurance.

(This is a great price and what I paid Ketch. I'm removing the 3% paypal fees on the lenses because of the light scuff marks on the focus rings like I said it’s still new and only used for testing buy me and DxMetal)

Though I have few posts here I have had several great transactions in the marketplace and am well trusted plus I have the DxMetal connection and you can never go wrong there.

DxMetal was kind enough to provide this pic of the lenses.

Guys,

The lenses are the ones featured here http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=119111
I used it for one feature film intermixed with my own Nikon zooms. Gary is an extremely awesome honest person to know/to deal with. You guys wont be disappointed. He has around $4k worth of equipment with me right now, for testing, so we can post it up here on the forum.

If you need any pics of the lens just PM me and i will get it to ya ASAP.

Thank you DxMetal for these pics of the lenses.

"In real life when u hold it arms length you could hardly notice the scuffs. It is less than 2 inches wide. also sending you the pic of the 50mm and 85 mm ( no scuff at all)" - DxMetal

There you have it! And the pics tell all!

Here is a pic of the 50mm:

Here is a pic of the 85mm:

Here is the pic of the scuff on the 25mm:

Here is a pic of a close up of the scuff on the 25mm:

Here is a 2nd closeup pic of scuff on the 25mm:

Here is a final closeup pic of the scuff on the 25mm:

Thanks again for looking! Now that we have better pics. I think it will help confirm to buyers that these lenses are all brand new aside from the light scuffing on the 25mm.

So far I've had people PM that they are interested but no committed buyers yet.

So lenses are still available. If you want them PM quick!

Guys,

The only way to not have scuffs or disfigurement s on your len's focus ring, is to not use a gear ring and a Follow Focus. The scuffing on the 25mm is purely cosmetic and will not affect the image quality of the lenses at all. There are no dents or deep penetrating scartches on the 25mm, just the paint being rubbed off a little (~ 2 inches area).

We used the 25mm the most due to the filming set (an attic). I also provided extreme closeup of the affected 25mm lens. Like I said, from arms length, you couldn't even tell the scuffing on the 25mm at all, but we think that it is only fair for the potential buyer to know about the slight imperfection.

I am awaiting my XDCAM EX to come back from Sony so I can do a final conclusion to my tests.
