Zeiss PL mount or Zeiss Nikon mount?

I know nothing about lenses so maybe this question is just dumb. But I'm considering investing in one or two Zeiss primes. On the Zeiss site, a few "still primes" are presented as suitable for using for filming. These still primes have Nikon or Canon mounts. Then they also have the famous compact prime lenses with PL mount. Now whether I buy Nikon mount of PL mount lensens, I'll have to use an "to mft adapter" anyway. Not taking the price difference between the different lenses and costs for adapter into consideration, is there an advantage in going the PL mount way or going the Nikon mount way? For me personally one advantage of buying a Nikon mount Zeiss prime is that I can use it on my Nikon still cameras. But what about electronic control/feedback? I assume that both PL and Nikon mount lenses don't provide electronic control of focus and aperture when mounted on a GH2?

Zeiss has the Compact Primes in CP and CP2, CP the original is PL mount only, the newer version is CP2 I believe has an adapter for PL, or Canon or Nikon mount. However all the Compact Primes
are reasonably more expensive the the Non- Cine version Like the ZF or the ZE Photo lenses. There are opinions and no doubt some based on fact that the Compact Primes or Cine lenses are better
suited for Movies (Cine lenses don't breath as much as SLR Lenses with there longer focus and there are other advantages a smooth adjustable Aperture).

All that being said, I use Both SLR and Cine lenses. I own a Zeiss 50mm and 85mm ZF Lenses with the NikonF to M43 adapter and have shot Commercial with them. ( They work Great).
I also own a set of use PL mount Lomo lenses that I use for a desired warm look. We rente Zeiss Speeds and other Zooms lenes when needed.
I have say from an ownership point of view the SLR lenses Nikon,Zeiss, Canon, Vogtlander etc. seem to work fine for me on a day to day.

If you know nothing of lenses, why have you honed your choice down so much anyway?

Zeiss Cine primes are nice but Jesus they're expensive and not really necessary for 1080p work. You would be as well off getting Contax mount Zeiss primes.
