F5: Zacuto EYE EVF

I actually use the Luts in the EVF this also solves the HFR problem in Cine EI shooting. There is a Rec light in the VF I haven't tried TC free run.

OK thanks.. think Ive read some saying that the EYE inbuilt LUTS were not as good as the Sony built in ones.. thanks again.. the main thing for me is the size, weight and non fogging is top of the list..

I have an original Graticle HD on my C300 and I had to wipe it off last week because it was fogged. And it didn't get moved from one extreme of temp/humidity to another. It's kind of funny. I don't recall it ever being fogged before and now everyone is making a big deal about them NOT fogging and mine does, now. Ironic?

They have some patented coating now.. maybe they didnt have it with the first ones.. I guess it wears off over time anyway.. you can get an anti fog drop in filter I believe..

There are two 'levels' of anti-fog on Zacuto EVFs in general, the 'base' coating on the glass eyepiece-lens itself, to reduce low-level fogging, plus the much more effective plastic anti-fog insert lenses. These last about 3months for my usage (about 3 times a week), and then the coating wears off and a new one must be inserted.
