We did exactly that. Is there a way to set exposure numerically and not just lock it down?

In about 5-10 months, we'll produce another one of these. At least, I will! And you'll see better use of these DSLRs and their settings. Plus maybe a certain rosey red camera in the mix! Also be on the lookout for an adapter shootout I'm personally producing with the Brevis MP.1, M2 with CF2, Letus Ultimate, Letus Extreme/Elite, and maybe a SGBlade. I'm also looking to include other adapters like the G35, Movietube, and Pro35 in it too! It'll be thorough as well.
In the coming weeks, we may release the full footage of each camera with multiple takes if there's an interest in this, send me a PM and I'll hook you up with some info.
Joseph:
where the HVX's 200 or 200A's?
Hey Joseph - did you guys shoot 1080 or 720 on the HVX / HPX cams? - detail settings on cameras available too?
He he he, I just sent Joe an email asking the same thing![]()

For anyone that might be interested. I've posted a brief clip of the RED vs the Canon 5D2 on vimeo. It doesn't include discussion or even audio, but helps to show a side-by-side of the two in action and the true difference you get with the money you pay for a RED ONE.

The original settings of the 5D provide very crushed blacks. I've seen modified settings where you could see much further into the shadows. Canon provides nice options to do so: You can import images into your computer, modify them, then import the new settings into the 5D. I think probably you can tweak the 5D much closer to the RED.
