Z-Finder mounting frame? Secure?

I saw that Zacudo has come out with a cheaper Z-Finder Jr., and apparently you can either use the metal bracket or the tradition mounting frame to attach the z-finder.

From you're guy's experience, how is the Z-Finder mounting bracket? I believe you have to glue it on correct? Does it hold well, or does the glue come off?

I was thinking about the LCDVF, but many people seem to have problems with the bracket staying on.

THanks

The mounting bracket works fine for me. I often leave the z-finder attached without the neck band hanging it on, without any worry of it falling off. I've never heard of the mounting frame coming off before.

I was concerned about this too, but it seems to be pretty well attached to the camera body and it didn't take long for me to complete forget it was a worry. The glue will not leave a residue if you ever want to remove the frame.

I have never encountered a problem repeatedly switching the viewfinder between 2 cameras using the mounting frames. Very secure.

Piling on...no worries at all. Just make sure you clean your LCD before applying the mounting frame.
