My one year old son Aiden is in hospital with pnemonia. He has been there since Tuesday morning. Initially he was put there by his doctor as a precaution, because his lungs and ongoing cough sounded like he needed it.

Since then he has gotten Pnemonia, and is on 5 breathing treatments a day, as well as both steroids and antibiotics in his iv. My wife Val and I are also sick, she has a nasty puke and diareaha inducing flu, and I have a serious case of bronchitous and a touch of the flue as well.

I have not been able to visit my son in hospital for two days.


Please say a prayer for my son to get well and for a speedy recovery, or send positive thoughts or whatever your thing is his way.

Positive thoughts and prayers are on the way. Hope your son recovers soon and can go back home, where he belongs.
 
Feel for ya. I had the same flu over the holidays and was almost hospitalized as I have asthma and that combination can be deadly. This one is tough and seems to hang around longer than usual. Hope your boy can fight through it. Best wishes.
 
I've been there too Matt, when my youngest boy wasn't much older than yours. It does suck that you can't be there with him, but all three of you need to recover, and it won't help him to share your bugs with him.
 
Consider it done. I've been there too. When my daughter was 2 she had viral encephalitis, and we didn't know what was wrong, or if she would make it. Scary ****. It must absolutely suck to not be able to visit, but it's the best thing to do, considering the circumstances.

From all those photos you've posted of him, he's practically part of the fam!

All my prayers and hopes that he recovers soon, as well as you and your wife.
