light on the fiddler is coming from 90 degrees off from what is hitting the back of the van.
check the shadows of the tires under the van and compare to the shadows from the fiddler's head on his shoulder.
and the color of the light is different.
 
Yup, the lighting is off by 90 degrees. By the time we filmed the chasing vehicles the route we planned to travel had too many shadows and the road was too jumpy.

Still the keying turned out fine. My biggest issue was getting AE to process the 1080p frames. I finally tweaked my memory settings to avoid a keylight out of memory error.

And yes, we are not the first to try this effect.

The area where we shot our green screen was out along a trail where we could support the screen next to the car. No power access. Thought about borrowing a generator, but this was strictly for fun. You'll have to image a strong breeze:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG).
