We only had 24 hours to shoot, edit, score and upload, and we were working with home depot clip-on lights with household 100 watt bulbs. And none of the actors had ever acted before in their lives.

I would appreciate any comments, opinions, suggestions, etc. Good or bad. I'm trying to learn as much as possible and this site has been a big help. Thanks again!

I loved the setting - bathroom and bar :) The concept itself was not shatteringly original, but was OK. The guy's acting on was so-so, though the woman was pretty good.

Very disappointing ending - there was no surprise or twist or anything. I don't think this little short will do anything for your career, and it won't win any awards. That said, the key is to learn and gather experience, and I bet you've done that :)

Good luck!

Nice work, good setting, story, nice lighting and sound. I was not fond of the way you lit the woman in her interviews the white balance seemed off it looked very yellow. The man was lit nicer in the bathroom, and the bar was lit well. I especially liked the fact that the guy was leaning on a urinal the whole time.

It's not the most original idea, but you did a good job with it, and that's important.

Thanks for the comments. When we decided to shoot in the bathroom, we were laughing hysterically for like ten minutes before we could get any actual shooting done.

As for the girl's interview, it looked different on the LCD on set. I later found out you can't trust the LCD. I also later found out that you have to contrast the background with the actor's skin tone. Lesson learned!

As for the acting of the guy, I thought he was pretty lame too. The problem was that he was ME. Our actor didn't show so I had to do it. And I clearly belong behind the camera!

I think we may have tried too hard to be funny and not hard enough to be original, but it was a fun day and a great learning experience! Thanks for the feedback guys.
